Temperature Mapping & Validation Services
One control sensor can’t speak for a whole space — mapping studies find out what’s really happening in every corner.
ACS Calibration delivers NIST-traceable, audit-ready temperature mapping and validation services, available at the ACS central lab or directly on-site at facilities across the Southeast. Temperature from -196 °C to 420 °C, infrared to 500 °C, and humidity from 30 to 75 %RH are on our accredited scope, so ISO/IEC 17025 accredited certificates are available on request.
Temperature & Humidity Instruments We Calibrate
From cryogenic checks to furnace controllers — if it reads degrees or percent RH, we can almost certainly handle it.
Frequently serviced brands: Traceable (Control Company), Gemini Tinytag, T&D, MadgeTech, Fluke, ThermoWorks, LogTag, and ThermoPro — plus dozens more.
Beyond the Single Sensor
Chambers, warehouses, cold rooms, and ovens are controlled from one sensor but used everywhere else — and gradients, dead zones, and door effects mean the corners live a different life than the controller reports. Mapping studies place calibrated data loggers throughout the space to document uniformity, locate hot and cold spots, and prove the whole volume holds spec.
Our mapping and validation studies use loggers calibrated under our accredited temperature and humidity capability, with a documented protocol, empty or loaded studies as your SOP requires, door-open and recovery characterization, and a full report identifying worst-case locations for routine monitoring. Specific equipment studies: ovens, incubators, refrigerators, walk-in coolers, and walk-in freezers.
What You Get With Every Calibration
- NIST-traceable calibration certificate with real measurement data — not just a pass/fail sticker
- As-found and as-left readings, so drift is documented
- ISO/IEC 17025 accredited certificate with reported uncertainty — on request
- Calibration label with due date, plus a reminder before your next calibration is due
Why Companies Choose ACS for Mapping & Validation Services
NIST-Traceable, Accredited on Request
Every calibration is NIST-traceable with real measurement data. Temperature (-196 to 420 °C), infrared (35–500 °C), and humidity (30–75 %RH) are on our ISO/IEC 17025 accredited scope — accredited certificates available whenever your quality system requires them.
4–6 Business Day Typical Turnaround
Keep production moving. Most instruments are typically completed in 4 to 6 business days from arrival, with rush options available when a line is down.
Flexible Logistics
Mail your instruments in, or schedule onsite calibration and we come to your floor — serving Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee, South Carolina, and beyond.
