Thermohygrometers hang on the walls of pharmacies, cleanrooms, warehouses, and labs doing a deceptively serious job: proving the space stayed in range. USP storage conditions, cleanroom specs, and manufacturers’ cold-chain requirements all get demonstrated by that little display — which makes its calibration status one of the first things an inspector checks.
We calibrate both parameters against reference standards: temperature under our accredited the temperatures on our current PJLA scope capability and humidity — the exact range where storage and cleanroom specs live — with as-found and as-left data for each parameter on the certificate.
Monitored spaces usually layer instruments: the loggers recording continuously, the RH transmitters feeding the building system, the hygrometers on spot-check duty. One onsite visit or one shipment keeps every layer defensible.
