Multimeter Calibration Services
The meter that declares a circuit dead had better be telling the truth.
ACS Calibration delivers NIST-traceable, audit-ready multimeter calibration, available at the ACS central lab or directly on-site at facilities across the Southeast. DC and AC voltage, current, resistance, and capacitance — sourcing and measuring — are on our accredited electrical scope, so ISO/IEC 17025 accredited certificates are available on request.
The Most Trusted Tool in the Toolbag
A multimeter’s verdicts get acted on immediately: circuit dead, motor pulling normal current, control signal in range, battery good. Every one of those calls rides on an instrument that eats abuse for a living — overloads, drops, blown-fuse events, years of daily service — and analog-to-digital converters and reference circuits age whether or not the display admits it.
We calibrate multimeters across every function under our accredited electrical scope: DC and AC voltage, current, resistance, and capacitance, at multiple points per range, with as-found and as-left data on the certificate. Voltage capability reaches 6 kV, current to 30 A DC, resistance to 100 MΩ — covering everything from pocket meters to bench instruments.
The fleet calibrates together: true-RMS meters, clamp meters, insulation testers, and the calibrators that check them in-house — one shipment or one onsite visit keeps the electrical shop audit-ready.
What You Get With Every Calibration
- NIST-traceable calibration certificate with real measurement data — not just a pass/fail sticker
- As-found and as-left readings, so drift is documented
- ISO/IEC 17025 accredited certificate with reported uncertainty — on request
- Calibration label with due date, plus a reminder before your next calibration is due
Why Companies Choose ACS for Multimeter Calibration
NIST-Traceable, Accredited on Request
Every calibration is NIST-traceable with real measurement data. DC/AC voltage, current, resistance, and capacitance are on our ISO/IEC 17025 accredited electrical scope — accredited certificates available whenever your quality system requires them.
