Pressure Gauge Calibration Services
A gauge that reads 40 when the line is at 60 isn’t a gauge — it’s a liability with a dial.
ACS Calibration delivers NIST-traceable, audit-ready pressure gauge calibration, available at the ACS central lab or directly on-site at facilities across the Southeast. Pressure calibration from full vacuum to 10,000 psi is on our accredited scope, so ISO/IEC 17025 accredited certificates are available on request.
Why Gauges Lie, and How We Catch It
A Bourdon tube work-hardens with every cycle. One overpressure spike bends the pointer or pegs the movement. Vibration wears the gearing until the needle sticks and jumps. The result is a gauge that looks fine and reads wrong — on a boiler, a compressor skid, an autoclave, or the test bench your quality system depends on.
We calibrate every common configuration: dry and liquid-filled analog gauges, digital test gauges, sanitary and diaphragm-seal gauges, oxygen-service gauges. Each is tested at multiple points rising and falling — so hysteresis shows up in the data — with as-found and as-left readings documented on the certificate.
The whole span from full vacuum to 10,000 psi is covered by our accredited capability, from low-pressure pneumatic gauges and differential pressure gauges to high-pressure hydraulic gauges. Behind the dials we also calibrate transducers and transmitters and digital indicators — and onsite calibration covers gauges that can’t leave the process.
What You Get With Every Calibration
- NIST-traceable calibration certificate with real measurement data — not just a pass/fail sticker
- As-found and as-left readings, so drift is documented
- ISO/IEC 17025 accredited certificate with reported uncertainty — on request
- Calibration label with due date, plus a reminder before your next calibration is due
Why Companies Choose ACS for Pressure Gauge Calibration
NIST-Traceable, Accredited on Request
Every calibration is NIST-traceable with real measurement data. Pressure calibration from vacuum to 10,000 psi is on our ISO/IEC 17025 accredited scope — accredited certificates available whenever your quality system requires them.
