Drying Oven Calibration Services
Moisture specs assume the oven temperature is real — loss-on-drying starts with a verified setpoint.
ACS Calibration delivers NIST-traceable, audit-ready drying oven services, available at the ACS central lab or directly on-site at facilities across the Southeast. Temperature from -196 °C to 420 °C, infrared to 500 °C, and humidity from 30 to 75 %RH are on our accredited scope, so ISO/IEC 17025 accredited certificates are available on request.
Temperature & Humidity Instruments We Calibrate
From cryogenic checks to furnace controllers — if it reads degrees or percent RH, we can almost certainly handle it.
Frequently serviced brands: Traceable (Control Company), Gemini Tinytag, T&D, MadgeTech, Fluke, ThermoWorks, LogTag, and ThermoPro — plus dozens more.
Dry Means a Number, Not a Feeling
Drying ovens back moisture-content methods, sample prep, and glassware drying — work where the method specifies a temperature and the result silently assumes the oven delivered it. A drying oven running 5 °C low leaves moisture in every sample and bias in every loss-on-drying result.
We calibrate drying oven indication and control under our accredited source capability (-30 to 420 °C) with as-found and as-left readings. Vacuum ovens, general lab ovens, and oven mapping studies complete the picture — all typically onsite.
What You Get With Every Calibration
- NIST-traceable calibration certificate with real measurement data — not just a pass/fail sticker
- As-found and as-left readings, so drift is documented
- ISO/IEC 17025 accredited certificate with reported uncertainty — on request
- Calibration label with due date, plus a reminder before your next calibration is due
Why Companies Choose ACS for Drying Oven Services
NIST-Traceable, Accredited on Request
Every calibration is NIST-traceable with real measurement data. Temperature (-196 to 420 °C), infrared (35–500 °C), and humidity (30–75 %RH) are on our ISO/IEC 17025 accredited scope — accredited certificates available whenever your quality system requires them.
4–6 Business Day Typical Turnaround
