ACS Calibration delivers NIST-traceable, audit-ready hygrothermograph services, available at the ACS central lab or directly on-site at facilities across the Southeast. Temperature from -196 °C to 420 °C, infrared to 500 °C, and humidity from 30 to 75 %RH are on our accredited scope, so ISO/IEC 17025 accredited certificates are available on request.

The Classic Recorder, Kept Honest
Hygrothermographs — the classic drum recorders with temperature and humidity pens — still serve archives, museums, and storage facilities where a walk-up visual record has value. Hair-element humidity sensing and bimetal temperature elements both age, and pen linkage wear adds its own creative errors to the trace.
We calibrate hygrothermographs against reference standards — temperature under our accredited capability, humidity across the accredited 30–75 %RH band — with as-found and as-left data for both pens. Facilities modernizing to data loggers can validate the replacements against the same standards.
