Balance Calibration Services
At 0.1 mg, everything matters — air currents, level, temperature, and above all, calibration.
ACS Calibration delivers NIST-traceable, audit-ready balance calibration, available at the ACS central lab or directly on-site at facilities across the Southeast. Balances from 2 g through 3,000 g are on our accredited scope, so ISO/IEC 17025 accredited certificates are available on request.
Scales & Balances We Calibrate
From 0.1 mg analytical balances to 5,000 lb floor scales — if it weighs, we calibrate it.
Frequently serviced brands: Ohaus, Mettler Toledo, CAS, A&D Weighing, Rice Lake, Health-o-meter, ULINE, KERN, Chatillon, and Seca — plus dozens more.
Milligrams Are a Discipline
Everything a laboratory produces rests on its balances: formulations, assay results, standards prep, sample weights that flow into every calculation downstream. A balance that reads 0.5 mg heavy corrupts data quietly and confidently — the display looks exactly as authoritative wrong as it does right.
We calibrate balances with certified Class 1 weights across repeatability, eccentricity, and linearity, with as-found and as-left data on the certificate. Balances from 2 g through 3,000 g fall under our accredited capability — and because an analytical balance calibrated in place stays calibrated, onsite calibration at your bench is the best practice we recommend for the sensitive end of the fleet.
Whatever style your lab runs, it’s covered: analytical, precision, top-loading, and triple beam balances — and the pipettes on the same bench can ride along in one shipment.
What You Get With Every Calibration
- NIST-traceable calibration certificate with real measurement data — not just a pass/fail sticker
- As-found and as-left readings, so drift is documented
- ISO/IEC 17025 accredited certificate with reported uncertainty — on request
- Calibration label with due date, plus a reminder before your next calibration is due
Why Companies Choose ACS for Balance Calibration
NIST-Traceable, Accredited on Request
Every calibration is NIST-traceable with real measurement data. Balances to 3,000 g and scales to 750 lb are on our ISO/IEC 17025 accredited scope — accredited certificates on request, with NIST-traceable coverage to 5,000 lb.
4–6 Business Day Typical Turnaround
