When a deviation investigation opens, the first questions are always the same: was the balance calibrated, when, by whom, and what did the as-found data look like? A calibration certificate with real numbers is the difference between a closed investigation and an escalated one.
We calibrate laboratory balances of every class with certified Class 1 weights — repeatability, eccentricity, linearity — and document as-found and as-left readings on every certificate. An accredited certificate is issued when the balance’s range is on our current PJLA scope.
