Anvil Micrometer Calibration Services
Interchangeable anvils extend the range — and multiply the surfaces that have to be right.
ACS Calibration delivers NIST-traceable, audit-ready anvil micrometer services, available at the ACS central lab or directly on-site at facilities across the Southeast. Calipers, micrometers, height gages, and indicators are all on our accredited dimensional scope, so ISO/IEC 17025 accredited certificates are available on request.
More Anvils, More To Verify
Interchangeable-anvil and specialty-anvil micrometers — blade, point, disc, spline — measure the features standard mics can’t reach. Every anvil style contacts the part differently, wears differently, and introduces its own error if it’s pitted, worn, or seated wrong.
We calibrate anvil micrometers against gage blocks under our accredited dimensional scope (0.05 to 6 inches), verifying each supplied anvil configuration with as-found and as-left data. The rest of the micrometer family and your calipers ride the same shipment.
What You Get With Every Calibration
- NIST-traceable calibration certificate with real measurement data — not just a pass/fail sticker
- As-found and as-left readings, so drift is documented
- ISO/IEC 17025 accredited certificate with reported uncertainty — on request
- Calibration label with due date, plus a reminder before your next calibration is due
Why Companies Choose ACS for Anvil Micrometer Services
