DC and AC voltage, current, resistance, and capacitance — sourcing and measuring — are on our accredited electrical scope, so ISO/IEC 17025 accredited certificates are available on request.
What the Jaws Know
Clamp meters earn their place by measuring current without opening the circuit — motor draw, panel loads, leakage hunting — but the magic lives in the jaws, and the jaws lead a hard life. Misaligned mating faces, weakened hinge springs, drifted Hall sensors on DC clamps: all of it skews readings while the meter looks perfectly healthy.
We calibrate clamp meters under our accredited electrical scope — current at multiple points across our accredited ranges, plus the voltage and resistance functions on the meter body — with as-found and as-left data documented. Higher current ranges beyond the accredited span receive NIST-traceable calibration with the same rigor.
Clamps rarely travel alone: the DMMs and true-RMS meters in the same bag, and the insulation testers on the same safety program, all calibrate on one cycle — in-lab or onsite.
