Thermocouple Calibration Services
The most common sensor in industry — and the easiest to keep trusting past its prime.
ACS Calibration delivers NIST-traceable, audit-ready thermocouple calibration, available at the ACS central lab or directly on-site at facilities across the Southeast. Temperature from -196 °C to 420 °C — and thermocouple systems to 1,370 °C — are on our accredited scope, so ISO/IEC 17025 accredited certificates are available on request.
Temperature & Humidity Instruments We Calibrate
From cryogenic checks to furnace controllers — if it reads degrees or percent RH, we can almost certainly handle it.
Frequently serviced brands: Traceable (Control Company), Gemini Tinytag, T&D, MadgeTech, Fluke, ThermoWorks, LogTag, and ThermoPro — plus dozens more.
Junctions Age. Records Should Not.
Thermocouples are everywhere heat is: oven zones, process lines, sterilizers, engines, molds. They’re also consumables that rarely get treated like it — junctions drift with thermal cycling, sheaths take contamination, and a Type K that’s lived above 800 °C ages measurably every week it survives. The reading looks fine because there’s nothing to compare it against — until calibration provides the comparison.
We calibrate thermocouple probes by comparison under our accredited capability from -196 to 420 °C, and thermocouple indication and control systems (Types K, J, T) to 1,370 °C — probe alone or probe-and-readout as a working system, with as-found and as-left data per point.
The temperature chain calibrates best together: the digital indicators the probes plug into, the controllers they steer, and the PRT references above them all — in-lab or onsite.
What You Get With Every Calibration
- NIST-traceable calibration certificate with real measurement data — not just a pass/fail sticker
- As-found and as-left readings, so drift is documented
- ISO/IEC 17025 accredited certificate with reported uncertainty — on request
- Calibration label with due date, plus a reminder before your next calibration is due
Why Companies Choose ACS
NIST-Traceable, Accredited on Request
Every calibration is NIST-traceable with real measurement data. Temperature, thermocouple systems, and humidity are on our ISO/IEC 17025 accredited scope — accredited certificates available whenever your quality system requires them.
