Feeler Gage Calibration Services
The gap doesn’t lie — but a worn feeler blade does.
ACS Calibration delivers NIST-traceable, audit-ready feeler gage calibration, available at the ACS central lab or directly on-site at facilities across the Southeast. Calipers, micrometers, height gages, and indicators are all on our accredited dimensional scope, so ISO/IEC 17025 accredited certificates are available on request.
Thin Steel, Thinner Margins
Feeler gages set valve lash, verify flatness gaps, check bearing clearances, and shim alignments — jobs where a thousandth or two is the whole specification. The blades take abuse for a living: dragged through gaps under load, kinked, polished thin by use. A 0.010 blade that now measures 0.0085 keeps saying “0.010” on its etching, and every clearance it sets inherits the lie.
We calibrate feeler and thickness gages up to 0.5 inch under our accredited dimensional scope, verifying each blade’s actual thickness with as-found data documented — so worn blades are retired on evidence, not after the equipment they set starts failing.
Complete sets calibrate to one certificate cycle, thickness gages get the same coverage, and the calipers and micrometers in the same toolbox make it one shipment instead of three.
What You Get With Every Calibration
- NIST-traceable calibration certificate with real measurement data — not just a pass/fail sticker
- As-found and as-left readings, so drift is documented
- ISO/IEC 17025 accredited certificate with reported uncertainty — on request
- Calibration label with due date, plus a reminder before your next calibration is due
Why Companies Choose ACS for Feeler Gage Calibration
NIST-Traceable, Accredited on Request
Every calibration is NIST-traceable with real measurement data. Calipers, micrometers, height gages, indicators, pin gages, and feeler gages are on our ISO/IEC 17025 accredited dimensional scope — accredited certificates available whenever your quality system requires them.
