Telescoping Gage Set Calibration Services
The bore transfer tool everyone learned on — still doing precision work, still needing proof.
ACS Calibration delivers NIST-traceable, audit-ready telescoping gage set services, available at the ACS central lab or directly on-site at facilities across the Southeast. Calipers, micrometers, height gages, and indicators are all on our accredited dimensional scope, so ISO/IEC 17025 accredited certificates are available on request.
Transfer Tools Carry the Error Forward
Telescoping gages transfer a bore diameter to a micrometer — which means gage condition and mic condition stack into one number. Worn contact ends, weak spring tension, and sticky locking mechanisms all corrupt the transfer, and the mic faithfully measures the corrupted result.
We calibrate telescoping gage sets under our accredited dimensional scope, verifying contact geometry and dimensional performance with as-found data per gage, returned as a set on one due date. Calibrate the micrometers they feed on the same cycle — the transfer is only as good as both ends.
What You Get With Every Calibration
- NIST-traceable calibration certificate with real measurement data — not just a pass/fail sticker
- As-found and as-left readings, so drift is documented
- ISO/IEC 17025 accredited certificate with reported uncertainty — on request
- Calibration label with due date, plus a reminder before your next calibration is due
Why Companies Choose ACS for Telescoping Gage Set Services
NIST-Traceable, Accredited on Request
Every calibration is NIST-traceable with real measurement data. Calipers, micrometers, height gages, indicators, pin gages, and feeler gages are on our ISO/IEC 17025 accredited dimensional scope — accredited certificates available whenever your quality system requires them.
