Volt Meter Calibration Services
One number, watched every day — the panel voltmeter is trusted precisely because nobody questions it.
ACS Calibration delivers NIST-traceable, audit-ready volt meter calibration, available at the ACS central lab or directly on-site at facilities across the Southeast. DC and AC voltage, current, resistance, and capacitance — sourcing and measuring — are on our accredited electrical scope, so ISO/IEC 17025 accredited certificates are available on request.
The Number on the Panel
Dedicated voltmeters — panel-mounted, bench, and handheld — do one job in high-visibility places: the bus voltage on the control cabinet, the output on the rectifier, the line reading the operator logs every shift. Those logged numbers become the process record, and a meter drifting a percent a year rewrites that record slowly enough that nobody notices.
We calibrate voltmeters under our accredited electrical scope from microvolts to 6 kV — DC and AC, multiple points per range, with as-found and as-left readings that show exactly how far the displayed number had wandered.
Panel instruments calibrate best onsite, right in the cabinet. The multimeters used to spot-check them and the calibrators used to source test signals belong on the same certificate cycle.
What You Get With Every Calibration
- NIST-traceable calibration certificate with real measurement data — not just a pass/fail sticker
- As-found and as-left readings, so drift is documented
- ISO/IEC 17025 accredited certificate with reported uncertainty — on request
- Calibration label with due date, plus a reminder before your next calibration is due
Why Companies Choose ACS for Volt Meter Calibration
NIST-Traceable, Accredited on Request
Every calibration is NIST-traceable with real measurement data. DC/AC voltage, current, resistance, and capacitance are on our ISO/IEC 17025 accredited electrical scope — accredited certificates available whenever your quality system requires them.
4–6 Business Day Typical Turnaround
Keep production moving. Most instruments are typically completed in 4 to 6 business days from arrival, with rush options available when a line is down.
Flexible Logistics
Mail your instruments in, or schedule onsite calibration and we come to your floor — serving Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, Tennessee, South Carolina, and beyond.
