Micrometer Calibration Services
Tenths live and die on the spindle — micrometers are where precision gets personal.
ACS Calibration delivers NIST-traceable, audit-ready micrometer calibration, available at the ACS central lab or directly on-site at facilities across the Southeast. Calipers, micrometers, height gages, and indicators are all on our accredited dimensional scope, so ISO/IEC 17025 accredited certificates are available on request.
Trust at the Tenth
When the print calls a tolerance in tenths, the micrometer is the tool that answers — which makes it the tool whose drift costs the most. Anvil faces wear where parts touch, threads develop backlash, frames spring from overtightening, and a ratchet that’s been slammed a thousand times no longer applies the force it was designed to.
We calibrate micrometers from 0.05 to 6 inches under our accredited dimensional scope, against gage blocks at multiple points through each range, with as-found and as-left readings recorded. Drift is documented before it becomes a scrapped part or a customer return.
The family is deep and we cover it: outside micrometers, digital micrometers, anvil and bench micrometers, and crimp micrometers. Pair them with the calipers on the same bench and everything shares a cycle.
What You Get With Every Calibration
- NIST-traceable calibration certificate with real measurement data — not just a pass/fail sticker
- As-found and as-left readings, so drift is documented
- ISO/IEC 17025 accredited certificate with reported uncertainty — on request
- Calibration label with due date, plus a reminder before your next calibration is due
Why Companies Choose ACS for Micrometer Calibration
NIST-Traceable, Accredited on Request
Every calibration is NIST-traceable with real measurement data. Calipers, micrometers, height gages, indicators, pin gages, and feeler gages are on our ISO/IEC 17025 accredited dimensional scope — accredited certificates available whenever your quality system requires them.
