Caliper Calibration Services
The most-reached-for tool in the shop is also the easiest to knock out of spec.
ACS Calibration delivers NIST-traceable, audit-ready caliper calibration, available at the ACS central lab or directly on-site at facilities across the Southeast. Calipers, micrometers, height gages, and indicators are all on our accredited dimensional scope, so ISO/IEC 17025 accredited certificates are available on request.
The First Tool Off the Bench
Calipers measure everything: OD, ID, depth, steps — a hundred decisions a day ride on one tool. And every one of those modes wears differently. Jaws wear at the tips where everyone measures, chips and coolant ride the rack, one drop to the floor springs the frame. The tool still zeroes; the middle of the range is where it lies.
We calibrate calipers from 0.05 to 40 inches under our accredited dimensional scope, against gage blocks on a surface plate — outside, inside, depth, and step checks at multiple points across the range, with as-found and as-left readings documented on the certificate.
Whatever style is in the crib, it’s covered: dial calipers, digital and vernier calipers, and complete caliper sets aligned to one due date. The micrometers and height gages on the same bench ride the same shipment — or onsite calibration covers the whole inspection department in a visit.
What You Get With Every Calibration
- NIST-traceable calibration certificate with real measurement data — not just a pass/fail sticker
- As-found and as-left readings, so drift is documented
- ISO/IEC 17025 accredited certificate with reported uncertainty — on request
- Calibration label with due date, plus a reminder before your next calibration is due
