Dynamometer Calibration Services
From rigging checks to pull tests — when the dynamometer is the proof, the proof needs proof.
ACS Calibration delivers NIST-traceable, audit-ready dynamometer calibration, available at the ACS central lab or directly on-site at facilities across the Southeast. Force calibration up to 100 lbf is on our accredited scope, so ISO/IEC 17025 accredited certificates are available on request.
Torque & Force Tools We Calibrate
If it tightens, twists, pushes, or pulls, we can almost certainly handle it.
Frequently serviced brands: Chatillon, Mark-10, Imada, Dillon, Shimpo, Wagner, Jamar, Magtrol, and Instron — plus dozens more.
Tension You Can Hang Your Name On
Dynamometers do the arguing in tension measurements: proof-loading rigging, verifying cable and guy-wire tension, documenting pull tests, checking hoists and hardware. Mechanical dial units and digital crane-scale-style dynos both spend their lives being shock-loaded — exactly the abuse that shifts a reading.
We calibrate dynamometers in tension at multiple points across the range with as-found and as-left data. Capacity up to 100 lbf falls under our accredited force capability; larger-capacity dynamometers receive NIST-traceable calibration with identical rigor and documentation.
Programs that measure force usually measure it more than one way — we also calibrate force gauges, load cells, and pull force meters, and handle crane scales and weighing equipment in the same shipment.
What You Get With Every Calibration
- NIST-traceable calibration certificate with real measurement data — not just a pass/fail sticker
- As-found and as-left readings, so drift is documented
- ISO/IEC 17025 accredited certificate with reported uncertainty — on request
- Calibration label with due date, plus a reminder before your next calibration is due
Why Companies Choose ACS for Dynamometer Calibration
NIST-Traceable, Accredited on Request
Every calibration is NIST-traceable with real measurement data. Force calibration up to 100 lbf is on our ISO/IEC 17025 accredited scope — accredited certificates available whenever your quality system requires them.
