Torque Screwdriver Calibration Services
Electronics, medical devices, optics — where the gap between snug and stripped is a fraction of a turn.
ACS Calibration delivers NIST-traceable, audit-ready torque screwdriver calibration, available at the ACS central lab or directly on-site at facilities across the Southeast. Torque screwdrivers are on our accredited torque scope, so ISO/IEC 17025 accredited certificates are available on request.
Torque & Force Tools We Calibrate
If it tightens, twists, pushes, or pulls, we can almost certainly handle it.
Frequently serviced brands: Snap-on, CDI Torque Products, Sturtevant Richmont, Tohnichi, Proto, Husky, Westward, Wiha, and GearWrench — plus dozens more.
Small Fasteners, Small Margins
Torque screwdrivers live where fasteners are tiny and failure is expensive: circuit board assembly, medical device manufacturing, connector installation, instrument housings. At a few inch-pounds — sometimes ounce-inches — over-torque cracks the board and under-torque walks loose in the field. The tool is the only thing standing between the two.
Preset, adjustable, and dial-indicating screwdrivers all drift with cycle count, drops, and spring set. We exercise each tool and test it at multiple points across its range, recording as-found and as-left readings so your assembly records stay defensible from one calibration to the next.
Torque screwdrivers are covered by our accredited torque capability, so accredited certificates are available whenever your quality system calls for them. If your line also uses torque meters or analyzers to verify drivers between calibrations, or torque wrenches at the next bench over, one shipment covers the whole loop. Not sure what your auditor will expect? Ask us — it’s a two-minute conversation.
What You Get With Every Calibration
- NIST-traceable calibration certificate with real measurement data — not just a pass/fail sticker
- As-found and as-left readings, so drift is documented
- ISO/IEC 17025 accredited certificate with reported uncertainty — on request
- Calibration label with due date, plus a reminder before your next calibration is due
