Proto Calibration Services
Industrial torque wrenches built for hard service — and calibrated for the records behind it.
ACS Calibration delivers NIST-traceable, audit-ready calibration for Proto instruments, available at the ACS central lab or directly on-site at facilities across the Southeast.
Popular Proto Equipment We Calibrate
The service pages below cover the categories Proto instruments most often fall into.

Proto Equipment, Calibrated With Data
Proto industrial torque wrenches and multipliers work heavy trades — energy, rail, plant maintenance — where fasteners are big, torques are high, and the consequences of under-torque are structural. Hard service accelerates drift, and high-torque work leans on our non-accredited, NIST-traceable coverage outside the current PJLA scope.
We calibrate Proto torque tools with an accredited certificate when the range is on our current PJLA scope, and non-accredited NIST-traceable calibration otherwise, with as-found and as-left data per tool — fleet batches aligned to one recall date.
ACS Calibration is an independent ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration laboratory. We are not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Proto; brand names are used solely to identify equipment we service.
What You Get With Every Calibration
- NIST-traceable calibration certificate with real measurement data — not just a pass/fail sticker
- As-found and as-left readings, so drift is documented
- ISO/IEC 17025 accredited certificate with reported uncertainty — on request
- Calibration label with due date, plus a reminder before your next calibration is due
Why Companies Choose ACS for Proto Calibration
