Force Gauge Calibration Services
Push, pull, peel, break — your force gauge decides pass or fail. We make sure it tells the truth.
ACS Calibration delivers NIST-traceable, audit-ready force gauge calibration, available at the ACS central lab or directly on-site at facilities across the Southeast. Force calibration up to 100 lbf is on our accredited scope, so ISO/IEC 17025 accredited certificates are available on request.
Torque & Force Tools We Calibrate
If it tightens, twists, pushes, or pulls, we can almost certainly handle it.
Frequently serviced brands: Chatillon, Mark-10, Imada, Dillon, Shimpo, Wagner, Jamar, Magtrol, and Instron — plus dozens more.
Pass/Fail Rides on the Gauge
Force gauges sit at the decision point of a thousand tests: spring rates, actuation and insertion force, peel and adhesion strength, break-away torque fixtures, package seal testing. Whether it is a mechanical dial gauge or a digital unit on a motorized test stand, its reading is the line between shippable product and scrap.
We calibrate force gauges in tension and compression at multiple points across the range, with as-found and as-left readings documented. Up to 100 lbf (≈445 N / 45 kgf) is covered by our accredited force capability — higher-capacity gauges receive NIST-traceable calibration with the same data.
The gauge rarely works alone: we also calibrate the load cells behind test frames, dynamometers for tension work, and pull force meters for crimp and terminal testing — one shipment, one cycle, one audit trail.
What You Get With Every Calibration
- NIST-traceable calibration certificate with real measurement data — not just a pass/fail sticker
- As-found and as-left readings, so drift is documented
- ISO/IEC 17025 accredited certificate with reported uncertainty — on request
- Calibration label with due date, plus a reminder before your next calibration is due
Why Companies Choose ACS for Force Gauge Calibration
NIST-Traceable, Accredited on Request
Every calibration is NIST-traceable with real measurement data. Force calibration up to 100 lbf is on our ISO/IEC 17025 accredited scope — accredited certificates available whenever your quality system requires them.
