When the Crimp Has to Hold
Pull force meters and wire-crimp pull testers qualify the joints nobody gets to inspect twice: crimped terminals in a vehicle harness, connectors in an aircraft panel, lugs in a breaker cabinet. Standards like UL 486A and IPC/WHMA-A-620 put hard numbers on minimum pull-out force — and your tester is the instrument of record.
We calibrate pull force meters and motorized pull testers at multiple points across the range with as-found and as-left data, so every qualification you signed since the last calibration stays defensible. Up to 100 lbf falls under our accredited force capability; higher ranges receive NIST-traceable calibration with the same documentation.
Harness shops usually pair pull testing with driver torque — we calibrate torque screwdrivers and force gauges too, and onsite calibration can cover the whole bench without it leaving your floor.
